Here you can find pictures of projects that I have done. Each project picture has the source of the pattern, who it was made for and the occasion, when the project was started/completed and what materials were used.

Most of the Cross Stitch patterns are copyrighted but I can direct you to the websites that will list stores in your area where you can purchase them or where you can download the pattern. I can tell you what alterations I made to the patterns and give tips and hints on various techniques I used.

All hats and baby blankets, some of the later afghans, made after 01/01/2008 as well as some shawls and Dorm Boots are available for sale. Also, Fruit Jar Covers are always available. Socks are made to order and price varies according to order specifications.

Any item can be "Made to Order" upon request and the price will be calculated according to materials and size ordered.

Mobile/Wheelchair Ditty Bag - 2005

This project was a departure from what I usually do.

A handicapped friend was complaining one day that she didn't have anywhere to put things when she was moving around in her chair. Having only one leg left her without a lap and the pouch on the back of the chair is useless to her.

I grabbed a scrap of material that I had laying around and took some measurements and knocked out this little ditty bag.

The bag slides onto the arm of the chair and the pressure from the back cushion holds it in place. There is a large pocket that runs from the bottom of the arm to the bottom of the bag to carry large objects such as portable or mobile phone, paperback book, etc. and there is a small pocket (shown in the horizontal stripes) with a Velcro closure where she can carry small objects such as money, smokes, tissues, etc.

The bag is made of heavy cotton, washable and non-shrink . She is happy as a bird in a bush which makes me happy.
